Our Easter weekend was pretty nice this year, and I hope your's was, too. On Saturday morning, I woke up early and decided to sew Jacob a basket while he slept in. I used Jen's tutorial, but I added cardboard from a cereal box between the felt on the basket and a thick cardboard bottom. Jacob woke up just in time to help me sew up the last little bit. We went to what I thought was going to be a small neighborhood egg hunt at our local Boys and Girls Club, but turned out to be a crazy huge madness of a hunt. There were 3,000 people there and a HELICOPTER dropping 20,000 eggs!
We spent Easter Sunday with my mom and sisters at The Tulip Fest. The flowers weren't as great as previous years, but we still had fun being outside and enjoying the sunshine before heading to church. Here come a boatload of pictures!
(sometimes a cow-train ride sounds like a blast and then you get on and realize it's not)
Thats crazy, so the helicopter actually dropped eggs from the air?
Love the pictures! I can't believe you made that basket Easter morning! Its prettier than any basket Ive seen at Target, And your little guy is so dapper :-) and you look just like a doll <3
